Fellowship in Endovascular Surgery

The endovascular fellowship is a six-month clinical educational experience for applicants who have completed their regular general vascular surgery fellowship. Exceptions may be made for those who have finished their general surgery residencies and plan to enter a peripheral vascular fellowship in the near future. The fellow participates in various diagnostic and therapeutic arterial and venous endovascular procedures such as diagnostic angiography, balloon angioplasty, thrombolysis, stents, and endovascular grafting, as well as endoscopic minimally invasive procedures. Ample opportunity is available for basic and clinical endovascular research. Interested applicants should apply one year in advance and will be reviewed on a competitive basis. There is no stipend associated with this fellowship and the applicant is expected to arrange for his/her own financial support. A California Medical License is required.
