This two-year fellowship offers a combined clinical and research experience in all aspects of laryngology, neurolaryngology, and care of the professional voice. The fellow is exposed to laryngeal framework surgery, endoscopic surgery including laser, treatment of spasmodic dysphonia with botulinum toxin, and assumption of the laryngologist's role in the team management of voice disorders. The fellow obtains experience in voice analysis with the utilization of videostroboscopy, acoustics, and airflow measures. The fellow is active in the laryngeal research laboratory and is involved in projects evaluating laryngeal neurophysiology, voice production, and transplantation. Applicants must have completed a head and neck surgery residency and should apply one year in advance of the July 1st start date. A California Medical License is required. Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery

The facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship is a one-year training program which offers broad exposure to facial aesthetic surgery and head and neck reconstruction. During the course of the year, the fellow participates in approximately 300 facial aesthetic surgery and 50 cases of major head and neck reconstruction including microvascular surgery. The fellow has ample opportunity to complete a research project in facial plastic surgery and coordinate the head and neck residents' facial plastic surgery curriculum. Interested applicants must have completed a head and neck surgery residency and should apply through AAFPRS (American Association of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) 18 months in advance of the July 1st start date. A California Medical License is required.

Fellowship Head and Neck Oncology
The head and neck oncology fellowship is a one-year program structured to enhance surgical skills obtained during head and neck residency. Emphasis is placed on learning current methods of conservation laryngeal surgery, craniofacial oncologic resections, and complex ablative procedures requiring free flap reconstruction. The fellow works at the UCLA and Harbor-UCLA Medical Centers, both of which act as referral centers for difficult cases. During this fellowship there is ample opportunity to participate in various clinical research projects. Applicants must have completed a head and neck surgery residency and should apply one year prior to the July 1st start date. A California Medical License is required.
