Biosketch
Dr. Michael W. Yeh was recruited to UCLA in Fall 2005 to establish the Endocrine Surgical Unit. After pursuing his studies at Stanford University and Harvard Medical School, he trained in general surgery at UC San Francisco. During this time he developed an expertise in clinical and scientific aspects of endocrine diseases, most notably thyroid cancer. Dr. Yeh then completed the prestigious T.S. Reeve International Fellowship in endocrine surgery at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, Australia. He is the recipient of numerous awards for research and contributions to medical education.
