Scope of Work

	Overview
	Cost effectiveness analysis is the best method to identify the most cost effective treatment strategy, particularly when there are several different options. Performing these studies has important implications for the surgery discipline regarding policy-making, quality of care, and payment/reimbursement issues. In this regard, this Center is performing these analyses to help further define and direct the surgical discipline within the broader scope of U.S. health care.
